FAQ

How long can ExportAlpha process?

Transparent WebM exports support clips up to 60 seconds. ProRes 4444 MOV export is limited to 8 seconds. Use WebM for longer clips.

Do I need a card to try ExportAlpha?

No card is required to try. Most new accounts get 5 free credits on first sign-in. Fair-use limits apply. 1 credit = 1 video second or 1 still image. Trial stills are capped at 5.

What does one credit buy?

1 credit = 1 video second, rounded to the nearest whole second, or 1 still image, with a minimum of 1 credit. Plans and packs share one credit pool. There is no separate image pricing.

What does a credit pack cost?

Credit packs start from $6.99 (Quick pack). See the pricing page for current packs and plans. Amounts shown are the live catalog, not estimates.

Can I use ExportAlpha on an iPhone or Android phone?

There is no iPhone or Android app. ExportAlpha is a website. The upload control is a normal file input, and the page layout fits a phone-width window. A check of the live site in a phone-sized browser window showed that upload control. The full upload, processing, and download flow has not been verified on a physical iPhone or Android phone. Transparent WebM preview is turned off on iPhone, iPad, and Safari.

Do trial videos have a watermark?

No. Video exports are not watermarked. Trial and paid video jobs use the same video processing path, and that path does not add a watermark. Trial still images are PNG files without a watermark. Paid accounts use a different still model.

Can I export GIF, a PNG sequence, or HEVC with alpha?

No. Video export is transparent WebM (VP9) or ProRes 4444 MOV only. ExportAlpha does not export HEVC-with-alpha, GIF, animated WebP, or a PNG sequence.
