How to Remove Background from an Image Online

Step 1 — Upload a clear source image

Step 3 — Download a transparent PNG
Download PNG (not JPG). Spot-check by placing the file over a bright color in your editor. If the backdrop color shows through the former background, alpha is present. If a hard rectangle remains, the file is still opaque.
